Anushandhanee's 4th Anniversary — 1981

At its four-year mark in 1981, Anushandhanee gathered at the Botany department of Rajshahi Government College for its fourth founding anniversary — and a new working committee.

Four years after its founding — in 1981 — Anushandhanee was no longer a fragile experiment. It was an institution.

A Dainik Barta report: “Last Sunday, on the occasion of Rajshahi Anushandhanee’s 4th founding anniversary, a programme was held at the Botany department of Rajshahi Government College. The chief guest was Mr. Abdul Halim, Director of the Upo-shahor (sub-city) chapter. The session was chaired by Mr. Zafrul Islam Farook, Director of Rajshahi Anushandhanee.”

A new working committee was formed at the event — with Zafrul Islam Farook continuing as Director and Fouzi Bin Farid as Organizer.

By its fourth year Anushandhanee was not merely surviving — it had grown into multiple chapters, including the Upo-shahor sub-city branch, all across Rajshahi. The first generation of organisers — Zafrul Islam Farook, Fouzi Bin Farid, Abdul Halim — were giving the organisation the stable structure that would carry it through the decades that followed.

It was on this four-year foundation that the next four decades were built.
